Zoho Books integration: approved bills, pushed with GST and the invoice
Once a bill is approved in AssetVow, it can go to Zoho Books as a Bill: the right vendor, the right account, the GST split per line and the invoice PDF attached. Finance checks it in Books instead of typing it.

What moves, and when
Bills
Approved purchase and repair bills become Bills in Zoho Books, with the vendor’s invoice number and AssetVow’s reference.

Found by GSTIN, then by exact name, or created with their GST treatment and state.
Accounts and GST
Your fixed-asset account for purchases (with overrides per category, such as furniture), an expense account for repairs, and CGST + SGST or IGST per line.
Invoice and checks
The invoice file is attached. If Books’ total differs from AssetVow’s by more than ₹1, you get a warning to check the taxes.
Set it up

Settings → Integrations → Zoho Books → Connect with Zoho, and sign in with your Zoho Books account.

Accounts and taxes: pick the organization, the asset and repair accounts, and the tax for each GST rate. AssetVow suggests matches by name and rate.

Choose when to push: by hand (on a bill, or all approved bills for a period), or automatically every few minutes for bills approved from now on.

Kept safe
- A bill is never pushed twice: AssetVow remembers the Books bill, and links one you already entered by hand with the same vendor and invoice number.
- Automatic pushes retry after 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours and 6 hours, then wait for someone to press Push.
- The Zoho token is encrypted and never shown; disconnecting revokes it.
Not available yet
- Sale bills (they are in the Tally export).
- HSN/SAC codes on bill lines.
FAQ
Zoho Books integration: common questions
Does AssetVow change anything else in Zoho Books?+
No. It creates bills and vendors that are missing, and reads only organizations, accounts and taxes to set up.
What if the bill is already in Books?+
If a bill with the same vendor and invoice number exists, AssetVow links to it instead of creating another, and tells you.
Does it push old bills when we switch on automatic?+
No. Automatic push covers bills approved after you switch it on. Push older ones by period if you want.
