Sign-in integration
Sign in with Google Workspace
People already sign in to Google every morning. With Google sign-in they open AssetVow with the same account, and you can let anyone with an email on your company domain join as an employee without an invitation.
Google → AssetVow
Only the person’s verified identity (name and email). Nothing else is read.
What moves, and when
Sign in
“Continue with Google” on the sign-in page. The first time, it links to the existing login with the same verified email.
Invitations
Invited people can accept with Google, as long as the Google email is the invited one.
Employees joining on their own
Off by default. Turn it on for your company domains and anyone in People with a work email there gets the Employee role on first sign-in.
Two-factor
Accounts with two-factor on are still asked for their code after Google.
Set it up
- 1
Settings → Security → Company sign-in: allow Google, and limit it to your company email domains.
- 2
Optional: turn on “Employees can join on their own” for those domains.
The owner controls which providers are allowed and for which domains.
Kept safe
- Google’s tokens are used once to read the identity and never stored.
- An email is trusted only when Google says it is verified, and accounts are linked by Google’s stable id, not by email.
- Unknown emails get no account unless they hold an invitation or your domain allows employees to join.
Not available yet
- Google Workspace directory sync (people and leavers from Google).
FAQ
Google sign-in integration: common questions
Can people still use a password?+
Yes. Google sign-in is offered alongside email and password unless an account was created through Google only.
Can anyone with a Gmail address get in?+
Only if they hold an invitation for that email, or your owner allowed employees to join from that email domain.
Works well with
Every integration is off until your owner connects it, and can be disconnected at any time.
